DVT51 Conventional Vertical Lathe

A programmable single-column vertical lathe, extended from the CK51T series and upgraded from the conventional range. A servo feed motor and ballscrew replace the trapezoidal leadscrew and feed rod, and PLC control replaces relay logic, so the structure is simpler and the failure rate lower. The cross rail is extended with twin ballscrews and symmetric ways, which both steadies it and makes room for a magazine. The magazine uses a T-block tool pull mechanism suited to turning. Twin-axis digital readout is fitted.

Is the DVT51’s speed range wide enough for mixed work?

The catalogued range is 6.3–200 / 5–160 / 3.2–100 / 3.2–100 / 2–63 r/min. The span matters more than the top figure: large diameters and tough materials live at the low end where torque does the work, while small-diameter finishing wants the top end. A range that covers both ends is what lets one machine carry mixed work.

What is built into the DVT51 that keeps it accurate?

Every DVT51 is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
