Five families of metal-cutting machines, from a 630 mm manual lathe to an 8.5 m gantry centre. Every one is cast, scraped, assembled and laser-measured on our site in Suzhou, so one contract can equip a whole workshop.

Lathes
Turning covers the widest span of anything we build: instrument parts on a gang-tool machine at one end, 2.5 m flanges on a double-column vertical at the other. Bed type, chuck and turret are chosen from the part rather than from a standard package.

Swing from 500 mm to 2.5 m over the bed and up to 20 m between centres on the heavy series, ways hardened by ultrasonic-frequency quenching. Large spindle bores for bar and tube, and steady rests for long shafts.

Single and double column vertical turret lathes, tables from 1 m to 8 m. A BT50 magazine and driven tooling turn the larger machines into vertical turning centres for flanges, rings and gearbox cases.

Large through-bores and twin chucks for drill pipe, couplings and casing. Used in the oilfield for cutting new threads and recutting damaged ones, and it still works as a general lathe between jobs.

Machining centres
Vertical, horizontal and gantry, all on cast iron structures that have finished ageing before they are machined. Which one the job needs is usually decided by how many faces the part has, and how many of them you can reach in a single clamping.

Fixed-beam and moving-column gantries. Beds to 6 m are cast in one piece rather than spliced, and the LMB hard-rail series carries a square ram that holds up under full-stroke Z-axis roughing.

Family 03
Drilling machines
Radial, vertical and deep-hole machines, from a 40 mm radial up to a gundrilling machine that takes a 4 m shaft. The radial series carries a steel-inlaid arm guideway developed over three decades of building them, which is what keeps spindle-box clamping reliable after years of arm travel.

Table-type and floor-type boring mills, for parts that are too heavy or too awkward to move once they are clamped. Hydrostatic guideways and steel-wire counterweight balancing on the floor-type series.

Choosing A Machine
Send The Part, Not The Model Number
Four details settle which family fits and which model inside it: the largest dimensions and the material, the tightest tolerance on the drawing, the parts per year, and where the machine is going. With those in the first email you get a model and a price band back, usually within a working day.

Count the faces
Machined from one side, a vertical centre is cheaper and easier to load. Three or four faces in one clamping, and a horizontal with a pallet changer pays for itself in setup time.

Weigh the cut
Heavy roughing and interrupted cuts in cast iron want box ways for the damping. High-speed contouring in aluminium wants linear guides for the acceleration. Both are built here.

Size the table for the fixture
Allow for workholding, not just the part, and check the Z travel clears the longest tool at the part’s tallest point. Table load rating matters as much as table size.

Say where it is going
Voltage, frequency, certification and crating all follow from the destination, and each of them affects the delivered price. Shipping and voltage detail.
No minimum order. Single machines make up most of what we ship, and they are quoted on the same basis as a multi-machine contract.

Choosing From The Range, Answered
Can one supplier really equip a whole workshop?
That is the point of building five families on one site: lathes, machining centres, drilling, boring and grinding machines, from a 630 mm manual lathe to an 8.5 m gantry centre. One contract means one acceptance standard, one spare-parts channel and one engineer to call, instead of five suppliers pointing at each other when something drifts.
How do I shortlist from five machine families?
Start from the part, not the catalogue. Four details settle it: the largest dimensions and material, the tightest tolerance on the drawing, the parts per year, and where the machine is going. Send those in the first email and you get a model and a price band back, usually within a working day.
Are all five families tested to the same standard before shipping?
Yes. Every machine, whichever family it comes from, is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its full travels, cuts a test piece, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If a machine misses on any line it goes back into the shop until it passes.
What if my part sits between two families — say turning plus milling?
That boundary is exactly what the Y-axis turn-mill centres exist for: a power turret and C axis finish turned, milled, drilled and tapped features in one clamping. Where the volumes justify separate machines instead, we will say so — a lathe plus a vertical centre is often cheaper than one combined machine standing idle half the day.
Do you keep machines in stock or is everything built to order?
Standard configurations are usually in stock for fast delivery, and customised configurations are built to order with a confirmed lead time — typically 30 to 60 days for standard builds. The confirmed date goes into the contract rather than being left as an estimate.
