Vertical drilling machines
Box-column machines from 25 mm to 80 mm capacity, a four-head gang drill for batch work, and CNC versions built on a vertical machining centre bed with servo axes and a full gear spindle box.

Radial arm drilling machines
Capacity from 40 mm to 125 mm in 45# steel, with the spindle reaching between 900 mm and 3400 mm from the column. The arm guideway is inlaid with steel, and the KRD frames run speed and feed on frequency conversion and servo control with a digital readout.

Gundrilling from Φ4 to Φ40 mm at depth-to-diameter ratios up to 150:1, on shafts up to 4 m long. One pass reaches what drilling, reaming and boring would otherwise be needed for.

Bed Type Follows The Part
Sixty models is a lot to read through. Send the part instead: the largest diameter, the length, the material and the tolerance, and we will name the two or three that fit and say why.

Flat bed for weight
A wide flat bed carries heavy, long work and damps the cut. It is the right choice for shafts, rolls and anything needing a steady rest, and it is easier to load with a crane.

Slant bed for chips and speed
Chips fall into the conveyor instead of piling on the ways, and the turret sits closer to the spindle centreline. Best for repeat production of medium parts.

Vertical for diameter
Once the part is heavier than it is long, gravity works with you rather than against you. Flanges, rings, wheels and gearbox cases belong on a table, not between centres.

Y-axis when it saves a setup
A power turret and a C-axis pay for themselves the moment the part would otherwise move to a machining centre for a keyway, a flat or a cross hole.

What drilling capacity do the radial machines cover in steel?
Radial arms here drill 40 mm to 125 mm in steel, with the spindle reaching up to 3.4 m from the column on the largest frames. Keep a margin over your biggest regular hole rather than buying at the limit — a spindle worked at its maximum every day wears its margin off fast.
How much arm reach does my radial drill need?
Enough to put the spindle over the farthest hole without re-clamping the work — that is the whole point of a radial. Measure the widest workpiece, add working margin, and check the spindle-to-column figures on the machine page. Re-positioning a 2 t weldment to chase holes defeats the machine.
Radial, box-column or CNC vertical — which drill for my shop?
Large, heavy weldments that cannot move want the radial arm swinging the spindle over them. Repeat hole patterns in parts you can bring to the machine suit the box-column and CNC verticals, where the table does the positioning. The CNC verticals add tapping cycles and pattern repeatability a manual arm cannot match.
What can the gundrilling machines do that ordinary drills cannot?
Hold a straight, round, clean bore at depth ratios to 150:1 — oil passages, spindle bores, long cooling holes. A twist drill wanders and work-hardens the wall long before those depths; the gundrill's single-lip geometry and through-tool coolant are built for exactly this work.
