Gang drilling machine
Z5632·4A Gang Drilling Machine
Four Z5132A spindle heads on one 445 × 2675 mm bed. Drill, ream, counterbore and tap in sequence without unclamping, which is where the time goes on small batch and line work.

Features
- Four heads on one bed, each using the Z5132A spindle box, so drilling, reaming, counterboring and tapping run in sequence on one fixture.
- 445 × 2675 mm bed with 400 mm of spindle box travel, set up for medium and small workpieces in batch production and on production lines.
- A box-column general purpose machine: drilling, reaming, spot facing, counterboring, boring and tapping all run on the same frame.
- Automatic spindle reversing and inching feed make blind holes and depth setting straightforward to set.
- A centrifugal friction clutch in the main drive takes the shock out of reversing and works as torque overload protection.
- Tool withdrawal is by push rod.
- Wide speed range, low noise, centralised controls and open access for maintenance.

Model FAQs
Questions Engineers Ask About The Z5632·4A
What is built into the Z5632·4A that keeps it accurate?
Two build points matter most on this machine: four heads on one bed, each using the z5132a spindle box, so drilling, reaming, counterboring and tapping run in sequence on one fixture; and 445 × 2675 mm bed with 400 mm of spindle box travel, set up for medium and small workpieces in batch production and on production lines. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.
How should I read the drilling capacity figures on the Z5632·4A?
Capacity figures are quoted in steel — Φ25 / Φ32 / Φ40 / Φ50 / Φ63 / Φ80 / Φ32 mm on the Z5632·4A. Keep a working margin over your biggest regular hole rather than running the spindle at its limit all day: a machine bought at the limit wears its accuracy off first. In cast iron the same spindle works easier; in stainless, harder.
What speeds and taper does the Z5632·4A run?
The Z5632·4A runs stated per model r/min on a 3 / 4 / 4 / 5 / 5 / 6 / 4 spindle taper. Big holes in tough material live at the bottom of the range where torque works; small holes want the top. A machine that covers both ends handles the whole job list instead of half of it.
How do I choose between the Z5632·4A and the ZK2103YG / ZK2104YG?
Both sit in the gang drilling machine group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.
How is a new Z5632·4A proven before it ships?
Every Z5632·4A is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
