Slant-bed CNC lathe

SKD-400 Slant-bed CNC Lathe

1. Adopting 45°overall inclined bed structure ,which makes the machine tool excellent rigidity and precision accuracy maintenance. 2. The spindle of the machine is designed with the concept of high speed, heavy duty, high precision, which easily achieve strongly heavy cutting. 3. The machine adopts 8/12 station servo turret to ensure the speed , exchange accuracy and rigidity of the tool change, X/Z axis is driven by imported precision ball screws, combined with imported linear rolling guide way, and has good dynamic characteristics. The machine is equipped with the hydraulic tailstock.

Questions Engineers Ask About The SKD-400

Is the SKD-400’s speed range wide enough for mixed work?

The catalogued range is 4500 r/min. The span matters more than the top figure: large diameters and tough materials live at the low end where torque does the work, while small-diameter finishing wants the top end. A range that covers both ends is what lets one machine carry mixed work.

Why does the SKD-400 hold its geometry under real work?

Two build points matter most on this machine: one-piece 30° or 45° slant bed for rigidity and accuracy retention; and spindle designed for high speed, heavy duty and high precision. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.

What separates the SKD-400 from the SKD-420 in this group?

Both sit in the slant-bed CNC lathe group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.

What acceptance testing does the SKD-400 go through?

Every SKD-400 is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
