Slant-bed CNC lathe

SKD-420 Slant-bed CNC Lathe

1. Adopting 45°overall inclined bed structure ,which makes the machine tool excellent rigidity and precision accuracy maintenance. 2. The spindle of the machine is designed with the concept of high speed, heavy duty, high precision, which easily achieve strongly heavy cutting. 3. The machine adopts 8/12 station servo turret to ensure the speed , exchange accuracy and rigidity of the tool change, X/Z axis is driven by imported precision ball screws, combined with imported linear rolling guide way, and has good dynamic characteristics. The machine is equipped with the hydraulic tailstock.

Questions Engineers Ask About The SKD-420

Why does the SKD-420 hold its geometry under real work?

Two build points matter most on this machine: one-piece 30° or 45° slant bed for rigidity and accuracy retention; and spindle designed for high speed, heavy duty and high precision. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.

How do I choose between the SKD-420 and the SKD-550?

Both sit in the slant-bed CNC lathe group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.

How soon can the SKD-420 ship, and what covers it afterwards?

Standard configurations generally ship within 30 to 60 days of a confirmed order, with the date written into the contract. The SKD-420 then carries a 12-month warranty on main components, handled by the plant that built it, with lifetime technical support and spare parts identified by part number at handover.

How is a new SKD-420 proven before it ships?

Every SKD-420 is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
