SKD-550 Slant-bed CNC Lathe
The unique design concept of SKD-550 comes from the world famous brand machine tool 1. Adopting an advanced 30°combined inclined bed structure, the machine achieves the min floor area while maintaining excellent rigidity and precision performance. 2. The spindle of the machine is designed with the concept of high speed, heavy duty, and high precision, which can easily achieve strong heavy cutting. 3. The machine adopts a 12 station hydraulic/servo turret to ensure the speed exchange accuracy, and rigidity of the tool change. X/Z axis is driven by Japanese THK precision ball screws, combined with Japanese THK linear rolling guide way, and has good dynamic characteristics. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic tailstock.

Every SKD-550 is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
