CKS51T CNC Vertical Lathe
A high-speed single-column vertical lathe with twin-lift cross rail, upgraded from the CK51D series. The cross rail is raised and lowered by two ballscrews and the bed ways are laid out thermally symmetric, so the rail holds its parallelism to the table. Accuracy is consistent wherever the vertical head sits on the rail, and positioning, repeatability and reversal error are all tightened. The bed sits on the table base, drive is through a two-speed gearbox, and the table is balanced statically and dynamically. Top speed is high enough to grind-turn within a range. Oil temperature cooling and cabinet air conditioning are fitted to keep the machine from running hot.
