X6323A and X6323B turret milling machine

Features

  • High rigidity cast iron construction, with the saddle guide-way coated in TF material.
  • Table surface and the X, Y and Z guide-way surfaces are hardened to HRC45-55.
  • 16-speed milling head sourced from Taiwan; variable-speed, combination-type and inverter heads are available in its place.
  • X, Y and Z axis screws are sourced from Taiwan for smooth, reliable feed.
  • The head swivels 90° and tilts 45°, so angled faces can be reached without re-fixturing the part.
  • Standard electrical cabinet uses domestic components; SIEMENS or SCHNEIDER parts can be specified instead.

Model FAQs

Questions Engineers Ask About The X6323A / X6323B

What spindle does the X6323A / X6323B run for mixed materials?

The X6323A / X6323B runs a 50 Hz 66-4540 / 60 Hz 80-5440 r/min spindle speed. Aluminium work spends its time at the top of the speed band; steel roughing lives on torque lower down. Match the spindle to the material mix you actually cut week to week, and say so in the enquiry — the spindle line is confirmed in the contract.

What should I look at inside the X6323A / X6323B beyond the spec table?

Two build points matter most on this machine: high rigidity cast iron construction, with the saddle guide-way coated in tf material; and table surface and the x, y and z guide-way surfaces are hardened to hrc45-55. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.

Which options should I consider when specifying the X6323A / X6323B?

Catalogued options for the X6323A / X6323B include: ISO30 or ISO40 spindle taper in place of the standard R8 (X6323 and X6325 frames); Variable-speed head, 60-4200 rpm or 60-3600 rpm, in place of the 16-step gear head; Combination-type or inverter-driven milling head. Options are named line by line on the quotation with the base configuration, so what is written is what arrives — and if an option does not earn its money on your parts, we will say so.

X6323A / X6323B or X6325A / X6325 / X6325D — which fits my work?

Both sit in the turret milling machine group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.

How is a new X6323A / X6323B proven before it ships?

Every X6323A / X6323B is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
