Horizontal boring and milling machine
TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine
Seven frames on one headstock design, with a facing head alongside the boring spindle. Spindles of Φ110 and Φ130 mm, facing heads of Φ600 and Φ750 mm, X travel from 900 to 2000 mm, and XY digital readout as standard.

Features
- Boring spindle and facing head on one headstock, so boring, facing and taper turning run without moving the part.
- Facing head standard on the TPX6111B and TPX6113 frames; a detachable facing head is the option on the T(P)X6211 and T(P)X6213.
- B axis rotary table through 360° on the table-type frames, with the spindle centreline able to reach the table surface.
- The T(P)X6211 and T(P)X6213 take a separately supplied rotary table, so the table is sized to the work rather than to the machine.
- XY digital readout standard on all seven frames.
- Z axis and B axis readout to order.
- 7:24 50# spindle taper to order.
- Rear column to order.
- Right-angle and universal milling heads to order on the T(P)X6211 and T(P)X6213.

Model FAQs
Questions Engineers Ask About The TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series
What is built into the TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series that keeps it accurate?
Two build points matter most on this machine: boring spindle and facing head on one headstock, so boring, facing and taper turning run without moving the part; and facing head standard on the tpx6111b and tpx6113 frames; a detachable facing head is the option on the t(p)x6211 and t(p)x6213. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.
What options are catalogued for the TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series?
Catalogued options for the TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series include: 7:24 50# spindle taper; Rear column; Detachable facing head, on the T(P)X6211 and T(P)X6213. Options are named line by line on the quotation with the base configuration, so what is written is what arrives — and if an option does not earn its money on your parts, we will say so.
Why does the TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series’s Φ110 / Φ110 / Φ110 / Φ130 / Φ130 / Φ110 / Φ130 mm boring spindle matter?
Rigidity at reach. A deep bore is cut on the end of a long bar, and the Φ110 / Φ110 / Φ110 / Φ130 / Φ130 / Φ110 / Φ130 mm spindle on the TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series is what resists deflection out there. The same headstock also mills and faces, so the spindle takes side loads too — read this figure before the travels.
TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series or TZK61 Series — which fits my work?
Both sit in the horizontal boring and milling machine group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.
How is a new TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series proven before it ships?
Every machine in the TPX61 / T(P)X62 Series range is laser-measured to ISO 230-2 over its travels, cuts a test piece that is measured rather than admired, and ships with a serial-numbered report carrying the measured values. If any line misses, the machine goes back into the shop until it passes — the report is a record, not a promise.
