Heavy horizontal CNC lathe
CK61315F Heavy CNC Lathe
A heavy CNC horizontal lathe built to the current national accuracy standard, combining electrical control, automation, hydraulics and modern mechanical design. It suits high-speed steel and carbide tooling on ferrous, non-ferrous and some non-metallic shaft, cylinder and disc parts, turning outside diameters, faces, grooves, bores, threads, curved and conical surfaces. The S series carries four integral ways with steel-inlaid or medium-frequency hardened saddle ways; the F series carries four split ways with hydrostatic saddle guideways. The main drive is a DC motor through a two-step mechanical gearbox. The headstock spindle is a through-shaft on adjustable-clearance double-row short cylindrical roller bearings, sized and spaced for running accuracy and static and dynamic rigidity, with a flanged short-taper centre. The cross feed is by ballscrew and the longitudinal feed by precision rack with twin-pinion backlash elimination. The tailstock is split upper and lower with a hydraulic force-measuring device, and moves and clamps under power.

Model FAQs
Questions Engineers Ask About The CK61315F
Why does the CK61315F hold its geometry under real work?
Two build points matter most on this machine: two- or three-way integral bed, medium-frequency hardened, steel-inlaid optional; and through-shaft headstock on twin short bearings. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.
The CK61315F comes in several bed lengths — how do I choose?
The CK61315F is catalogued with max. workpiece weight between centres options of 63, 80, 80, 100 and 125 t. Work from your longest finished part plus chucking and parting allowance, and remember slender work on the longer beds wants steady rests quoted with the machine. Buying excess bed costs floor space and money every day after delivery.
CK61315F or CK6185B — which fits my work?
Both sit in the heavy horizontal CNC lathe group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.
What is the lead time and warranty on the CK61315F?
Standard configurations generally ship within 30 to 60 days of a confirmed order, with the date written into the contract. The CK61315F then carries a 12-month warranty on main components, handled by the plant that built it, with lifetime technical support and spare parts identified by part number at handover.
