Precision CNC cylindrical grinding machine
MGK Series Precision CNC Cylindrical Grinding Machine
Five CNC frames built for the accuracy figures rather than the capacity: roundness to 0.0005 mm, cylindricity to 0.002 mm and Ra 0.04 μm. Wheel speeds of 45 m/s with SIEMENS or FANUC control.

Features
- High precision class: roundness to 0.0005 mm, cylindricity to 0.002 mm and Ra 0.04 μm.
- Linear guideways on the X axis feed, with the wheelhead on a separate slide.
- Wheel peripheral velocity of 45 m/s on all but the smallest frame.
- SIEMENS 828D or FANUC 0iTF control.
- The M suffix frames carry the same bed with an internal grinding attachment.

Model FAQs
Questions Engineers Ask About The MGK Series
Should my parts run between centres or in a chuck on the MGK Series?
Between centres whenever several diameters must stay concentric to one axis — the centre holes are the datum, so inspect and lap them before precision work. Chucks or collets take over when there are no centres or a bore is the reference. On the MGK Series, slender work past roughly ten diameters of unsupported length wants a steady rest carrying the span.
Which wheel sizes fit the MGK Series?
Maximum wheel size on the MGK Series is stated per model on the specification table. Wheel choice — abrasive, grade, structure — is matched to your material and finish target at quotation, and shoulder work needs the wheel width checked against the shoulder clearance on your drawing before the machine is sized.
What should I look at inside the MGK Series beyond the spec table?
Two build points matter most on this machine: high precision class: roundness to 0.0005 mm, cylindricity to 0.002 mm and ra 0.04 μm; and linear guideways on the x axis feed, with the wheelhead on a separate slide. Structure decides how a machine ages — the specification table tells you what it does new, the build tells you what it does in year five.
What separates the MGK Series from the MGK1450 / MGK1463 in this group?
Both sit in the precision CNC cylindrical grinding machine group, so the decision is capacity and duty, not kind: put your largest part dimensions, material and yearly quantity against each specification table and one of the two will run out of a figure first. Send the drawing and we will name which of the two fits — including the case where the smaller machine does the job.
How soon can the MGK Series ship, and what covers it afterwards?
Standard configurations generally ship within 30 to 60 days of a confirmed order, with the date written into the contract. The MGK Series then carries a 12-month warranty on main components, handled by the plant that built it, with lifetime technical support and spare parts identified by part number at handover.
